F. Javier Ruiz, MD, DABPM was born and received his medical degree in Barcelona, Spain. He completed his anesthesiology training at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Ruiz is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He continued training by completing a fellowship in pain management and obtaining certification as a Pain Management Specialist by the American Board of Anesthesiology, American Board of Pain Medicine and American Academy of Pain Medicine.
